Happy Labor Day (9/1) to our US and Canadian members. Are you doing anything special today? Cousin #2 is coming over today to do her usual even though trash pickup won't be until Wednesday. Called cousin #3 to confirm that she's coming over tomorrow; but I haven't heard back from her as yet. With the PowerBall jackpot at $1.1 billion, will you be buying anymore tickets? There was a horrible earthquake in Afghanistan. The count so far is 622 dead and 1,500 injured in the strong 6.0 quake. I'm sure any prayers would be appreciated. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - PB&J sandwich, chips, peach yogurt Dessert/Snack - None Dinner - PB&J sandwich - I didn't feel like having the egg rolls. What did you eat yesterday? There are things I want to do today but who knows if I'll get to do any of them. Pretty and I talk about doing something and then she claims my eyes aren't open enough for me to drive to do them. I still want to drive to the expensive grocery store and buy some of the cooked chicken strips from there. YUM! I ate chicken taquitos for breakfast yesterday, I made hamburgers for late lunch and had a package of Pop Tarts for supper. I also ate a huge peach for a snack around 8 pm. Delicious! I should buy more of those before they're all gone.

I would think you would know if you can see well enough to drive. It should be up to you!!!

@DaddyEvil I'm done here. I have to go check out Estimated Tax Payments for Federal and Ohio. I think I'm going to owe this year because of cashing out my husband's financial policies. Bummer. CYA tomorrow.

No, nothing special will be done today here. I’m just going to rest up and try to feel stronger. Yesterday, I had a fruit cup, a hamburger patty with BBQ sauce, a bunch of cherry tomatoes, and a turkey sandwich.

I have read of the earthquake in Afghanistan we also had one in the south of Italy, but not so powerful.

@LindaOHio - They are having minor earthquakes almost every week in the area of Campi Flegrei right now. Sooner or later a major one will cause serious problems.

I saw that about the Afghan earthquake those poor people! Lets see yesterday I had some hushpuppies, and also a veggie burrger and fries for dinner..assorted veggies.

A lot of pb & j today, huh? I think i will get a ticket next Friday. I hope the cousins do as the have said they would. We had corn chowder for dinner lastnight. I had my usual eggs for breakfast.

Happy Labour Day to you as well. We will just have a quiet day, and I have to get ready to return to work tomorrow after a nice long vacation. We were at an outdoor party yesterday and had some delicious homemade pork and beef spring rolls, and a beef, potato and carrot dish-like a stew, I enjoy that dish. There were some chocolate cringle cookies that I really enjoyed.

We plan to be out and about a bit later on today, and you can bet I will be making some convenience store stops for some Powerball tickets. With that much money at stake, I just can't help myself. For dinner I made sirloin pork chops drizzled with teriyaki sauce with tater tots and buttered peas on the side.
