I Saw the Bagel

So yes, I saw the Asiago cheese bagel. I wanted the Asiago cheese bagel. I ate the Asiago cheese bagel. And then, I regretted eating the Asiago cheese bagel. Asiago cheese is hard to resist for me. Do you have some foods that are hard to resist? And then do you regret eating them? I was hungry, and now I’m at least not.

You made me realize that I never tried Asiago cheese, we have too many in Italy. I always regret eating pastries, but I cannot resist.

@AmbiePam - I have been grocery shopping this morning and I bought a small piece, I choose the mild one.

Why would you beat yourself over that? You need food dearie especially now and if it is nutritious so much the better.. One bagel isn't going to kill you. Food that is hard to resist..maybe chocolate. I am not a chocoholic, but if I have it around, I am going to eat it.

I don't think I've ever had Asiago cheese, but I've had plenty of bagels in my life, even before they became a 'thing' with the in crowd.

If you get a chance, Asiago is pretty tasty.

I love that cheese even though I know I pronounce it wrong. I'm glad you ate something hearty and tasty.

I think I’m lucky that chocolate has never tempted me. My mom said in the womb, any time she ate chocolate (she loved it) I’d give a huge kick. I didn’t like it at all until I was around ten.

I like bagels and I enjoy Asiago cheese. But bagels are often so filling, if I eat the entire thing, I just don't want to do anything else for awhile, they sort of make me lazy! I do better with English muffins, not as dense.

It just felt so heavy. I think I should have had some fruit or protein first. It’s been a few hours, and finally I’m starting to feel normal again.

There are fruits that will aggravate my IBS and diverticulosis. I don’t eat them with the fervor and frequency that I used to, but I do frequently find myself asking if the taste is worth the pain.

I can relate, and I am sorry that you are feeling that way. It isn't the best feeling....... I kind of get like that after I eat anything too rich, including chocolate.

Yes, there are foods I shouldn't eat but, unless someone ties me down, I might eat them anyway. I wouldn't regret eating them, though. Asiago bagels are REALLY good!

Never had a cheese bagel but I did have a cheese scone yesterday and that was very tasty. And no, I rarely regret eating anything!

A cheese scone sounds delicious! A cheese bagel probably sounds cheesier than it actually is too.

My favorite candies, ice cream and white cake with vanilla frosting. I always regret eating them.
