9/10/25 - Meals

We can't forget what today is (9/11). On 9/11/01 the attack on the Twin Towers took place. Many lives were lost both in the building and also affected those that were caught in the dust from the collapsed structures. Take a moment and say a prayer of remembrance. My shoulder is still hurting like heck. I have to get up every couple of hours; and putting my weight on that shoulder just aggravates it all over again. I hope it starts getting better because I don't want to see a doctor about it. Just received the cover shot of my book. I was shocked and upset that they put a price of $14.95 on it. That's the price of a good hardbound book. Not a small paperbound book. No one will want to purchase it at that price. Breakfast - PB&J sandwich Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Sloppy Joe, potato wedges, beets (YUCK) and grapes Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin Dinner - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, "cheetos" and blueberry yogurt What did you eat yesterday? I cannot believe that it happened 24 years ago, I remember so well that day. Books are very expensive now.

$14.95 for a hardcover is too low. Hardcovers usually sell for much higher. Your price is more for paperback.

It is a paperback; but it only has a few pages. It's overpriced.

I seem to forget that every year. What a horrible time. Is there any way you could take a pain pill before you have to get up? That may make the pain a little less.

I'm sure they will have documentaries and interviews with people who were there.

Sorry about your shoulder, I don't want to go to a doctor about mine either. Books are always expensive anymore... but sorry they put the price that high on it. Potato wedges sound good. Yesterday I made a BBQ chicken casserole

Yesterday I recovered pretty well so I had two beef tacos and a lot of freshly made chips and salsa. Oh, and I also had a lot of blueberries.

I remember brushing my teeth getting ready for work when I heard that a plane crashed into a building and thought of that scene in The World According to Garp... not quite the same thing. And I'm ashamed to say I didn't think about it yesterday.

We were cleaning out my in-laws house. I was going through a box of clothes and watching TV. I thought the first plane was a small private plane.

I acknowledged 9/11 too. We can never forget. Is there anyway you could negotiate the sell point of the book?

They said no, unless I want to cut my profit way down.

Books have gotten terribly expensive. Can you have any say on the price ?

Apparently not. I think most of the profit is going to the publisher.

If your shoulder really hurts, you NEED to see a doctor and find out what's causing it to hurt. You could have something really wrong with it. Why would they put such a high price on your book? I thought you got some say in the price? I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, and ate chicken fries with steamed mixed veggies for lunch. Something didn't agree with me. I didn't eat anything else yesterday.

I hope you're feeling better. My shoulder is a teeny bit better today. I think it just needs to heal. I think the publisher must be getting a big chunk of the profit on the book. They said to cut the price, I'd have to take less of a profit at my end.

We will never forget. Ouch, that does seem like a high price tag for your book. Is there any way you can appeal and see if they can adjust it? For dinner we just ate leftovers of baked chicken thighs, red sauce pasta and buttered kernel corn, and added to it with some crinkle cut fries just for good measure. Cleaned out the fridge before our camping trip and it filled the bill nicely.

The publisher is obviously taking a huge chunk of the profit. To lower the price, I'd have to cut into my small profit.

That was a tragic day. The price is okay, as long as the content is good. Breakfast peanut butter sandwich Lunch - rice and pork Dinner - same as lunch.

9/11 was a sad date for the United States. Today we had bacon and eggs, hash browns and jelly toast with some grape juice to drink. For lunch a hot dog on a bun. Pork chops, homemade fries, corn and a fresh peach for dinner.

I remember that there were no contrails in the sky afterwards, that was nice, it is sad the cause of it. So many years have passed. Books are costly, I spend at least twice that on STEM books for the girls. They are an investment and something that they refer to often.
