One week!

I’m leaving in one week for the cruise! My main excitement is getting out of this cr@ppy apartment, getting cooler weather, and cruise food. Of course, it will be nice to see Maine and Canada (my body limits me on where I can go). My mom always wanted to go to Maine, and I always wanted to go to Prince Edward Island (also going to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) due to Anne of Green Gables. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to do that after all due to it being a four hour excursion, but the others aren’t more than 2 1/2 hours. In Maine we’re just going to explore around ourselves.
My sister is set in exploring Boston too, although I think the rest of us are okay NOT doing that. We’ll be tired. Then there is meeting the friends in Connecticut.
When you, or when you did go on vacation, why did you look forward to most? My dad would be happy if he never goes on vacation, but Diana loves to travel. Luckily, my dad has fun wherever he goes.

Honestly, when I've gone on vacations with Pretty, the best part was driving, seeing things we'd never seen before and talking to Pretty about the views, the people we met and the foods we ate along the way.
When I went on vacations with Pretty's mom, we enjoyed ourselves but she was always ready to stop, sit in a hotel and watch television... I wanted to get out and explore. Usually, after she fell asleep, I'd go out and wander around where ever we were, just meeting people and talking about where they were from, why they were traveling and what they wanted to do if they were on vacation, too.
When Pretty and I drove out to Disney Land, she fell asleep and I went out and sat on the steps going up to our room and talked with other travelers. Some of them sat on the steps with me and we talked way into the night. I had a good time.

Earlier this summer I did, and also in the spring we went to Myrtle Beach. You will have a ball on the cruise as long as you take it easy and don't get terribly nauseated. How many days is it? What city do you leave from?

. You might luck out. I never felt ill on a cruise, not even friend did, although he got sick on a whale watching trip.

I always want to see family if I travel. MIne or Bob's. You may even start seeing some pretty leaves out that way.

I can't believe that you leave in such a short time.
This has been a really well anticipated trip, and I just know that you will all have a really wonderful time.
I wish you calm seas and nice weather.
When we go away the vacation starts in the garage.
We always have so much fun as soon as the car is in Drive.
I can only imagine the excitement level at your sister's place these days.

I love to travel too. I just love to wake up in the morning and look out of the window and see somewhere I haven't seen before!
I hope you have a great time! I have never been to any of the places you will visit so I look forward to hearing about them.

I believe it was Maine where we took a whale watching boat. Really cool. Boston is much too crowded and has horrific traffic. We took the spur around the city to avoid it. I look forward to the animals the most.

I hope you have the best time, and make good memories. I love Canada, and Prince Edward Island is worth the visit--rest a lot so you can go to what you want to go to! If I had a choice and I had to eliminate one exploring thing, it would be Boston. Not that it isn't interesting, it is. But, it's a lot, very hectic, and tiring--at least it has been when I was there.

I am not one to sit in the sun all day ….if I am going to a different part of the world, I want to explore and find out about the area. Learning about their customs and eating local food.
