Raccoon Attack.

Last night, I awoke from my dreams to the sound of hissing. Of course, the pretty girl was right about to kiss me. Her eyes were so soft .Her lips were so...sorry... Hissing.
I stumbled over to Kitty's food dish and witnessed the standoff..I could not tell who had been doing the hissing. Raccoons hiss too.
I gently chased the raccoon off, and refilled Kitty's food and water dishes.
But I had to close the sliding door so the raccoon would not come back.
By the time I went back to bed (yes, I slept in this morning), Kitty was munching away on her food, the raccoon was looking on longingly through the glass door, and the pretty girl had gone back to Paris, without receiving a proper kiss.
Sigh. Today is my longest day at Guitar Center.Wish me big happy fun.

I'm glad they were only hissing at each other. I'd hate to find out Kitty got hurt defending her food dish.

Horsie, don't you have a sliding screen door as well? If not, you need one or else you are going to wake up some morning with a racoon asleep on your bed with you and Kitty...and let's be real here--that French girl is never going to show up if there is a racoon in your apartment!

What an adventure you had last night! Dreaming of a kiss from a pretty girl only to be interrupted by raccoon drama—that’s definitely a plot twist I didn’t see coming. It sounds like Kitty had a bit of a surprise too, with the raccoon making a late-night appearance. I’m glad you got everything sorted out, though. At least you gave Kitty her food and water back, and the raccoon got the hint to stay outside.

We used to have possums come up on the deck and get my dog's food when we fed her outside.

I hope you had a good day at the Guitar Center, At night I can sometimes hear a standoff betweeen a group of feral cats here and the possum that comes to get leftovers, Then it sounds like Civil War until whoever wins gets all the food,
