For you coffee lovers out there today (9/30) is National Coffee Day and National Starbucks Day; so enjoy!
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken stew, Brussels sprouts, mixed veggies, roll, applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin
Dinner - Chef salad, 70% chocolate
I bought a bar of 70% cocoa chocolate. It is supposed to regulate blood sugar and blood pressure and help brain function.
What did you eat yesterday?

I thought 70% would be bitter; but it was good.

I think I have two boxes of On-Cor riblets. I think the fat and sodium are quite high; but I might eat them anyway.

I have one container of yogurt left; and when that's gone, I can't eat anymore.

In my little world every day is coffee day, I love a cup of my morning serum any time of the day.
It is National Day of Truth & Reconciliation here in Canada today.
It is a day to pay respect to our aboriginals, which we took so much from.
I cannot think that a single day a year is enough respect, but there are milestones that the various tribe leaders mark on this day, ways that things have improved.
I still have to work today, although many have the day off.

Our Native Americans were abused by us as well. We took their land and slaughtered the buffalo.

@LindaOHio - I did not like at all the coffee I was served at Starbucks, it was not really strong, but incredibly bitter. They dark roast the beans at too high temperature, this kills the taste of coffee.

We stopped at Starbucks once when we were on vacation. The coffee was so strong we had to throw it out.

We have a Breville Barista Espresso machine. My brother gifted it to us I think in 2015. It stopped working properly years ago and I switched back to instant coffee. I drink taster’s choice. It’s of course not the same as coffee made from that machine but it’s pretty good. I got it on sale yesterday at Walgreens for $9.99 and I used my OTC card so it cost me nothing.

@LindaOHio They used to have it on sale there for like $6.99 and then $7.49. The sale went down and sale price became $7.99. Now sale seems to alternate between $8.99 or $9.99. But regular price is close to $15.

That's great, I made myself a coffee without even knowing that.
70% chocolate? eww! lol. Guess it is not as bad as even darker chocolate.

The 70% dark chocolate was actually pretty good even though I prefer milk chocolate.

Everything that you had sounds so good. I haven't had coffee since my hubby passed. He used to make me a cup in the afternoon.
