Jane Goodall, that dear woman that studied chimpanzees, has died at the age of 91.
Gold has hit an all-time high - $3,858.45 per troy ounce!!!!!!!
Elon Musk has become the first person to hit $500 billion in net worth.
The doorbell rang yesterday; and I thought it was Meals on Wheels...it was gravel man. He wanted to know if he could use me as a reference again -- he could have called. Gave me a big hug when he left. I don't know what to think.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Hawaiian chicken, rice pilaf, mixed veggies, peppers and onions (yuck), tropical fruit, mini vanilla wafers
Dessert/snack - 1/2 banana chocolate chunk muffin
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, chips, blueberries

Who can blame him?
Yesterday, I had ravioli carbonara with shrimp. I had it for lunch and dinner, and I felt triumphant that I kept it down.@LindaOHio (222280)

How are you feeling today?
Gravel man has me so confused. I am no looker by any means. I'm old and fat. If I was young, skinny and decent looking the way I was 50 years ago, I could understand it. I just don't know.

I think gold was around $600 back in the 60s or 70s.

Sounds like interesting meals. I had mcdonalds nuggs and coffee. Then a cheesy noodle bowl for dinner.

Well, Gravel man wanted to see you, and more than likely needed that hug. It's time to invite him over to watch that movie you were wanting to watch with someone...and enjoy some company besides the cousins.
I was sad about Jane Goodall. She was a one of a kind, and I loved watching her when she was on TV. I remember this past January, President Biden gave her the Medal Of Freedom.

The gravel man's hug would have thrown me off too—definitely an unexpected moment. Your meals sound nicely balanced, though I'd probably pass on the peppers and onions too! The banana chocolate chunk muffin sounds like the perfect dessert.

I went to Lexington yesterday, so it was lunch at Sonny’s BBQ with chicken and a cheese-stuffed baked potato, and grilled cheese and rice for dinner. Fiber, yogurt, applesauce!
