1978 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a science fiction psychological horror film directed by Philip Kaufman and based on the novel The Body Snatchers by Jack Finney. Critics find this remake to be far superior to the 1956 film and the novel.
Pod people!!! A parasitic alien race leaves their dying planet and travel to Earth, taking the form of seed pods. If a person falls asleep, and a pod has been placed next to them, they are taken over by an alien duplicate. The only difference is that they are devoid of empathy and humanity. Creepy stuff.
The movie stars Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Jeff Goldblum, Veronica Cartwright and Leonard Nimoy.

I always like the originals, not the remakes. This one was okay however. It's an interesting story.

I saw a movie similar to this when I was a little kid. It scared the crap out of me. It was before it's time, with implants going into the necks of recently deceased people turning their personalities evil..kind of a zombie precursor.

Oh yes, this is a great movie. I love the ending!
I can see it’s got one of your favourites, Jeff Goldblum, in it. I didn’t remember this. Donald Sutherland was excellent in his role. I must watch it again sometime soon.

I have never been a fan of scary or creepy movies. Heck, there is enough of that in real life without watching a movie of it.
