Okay, you asked for this. Last month it was more mellow by this guy, but this month’s song screams for you dance. Of course, all of the songs this month do. Get some exercise to today’s tune. Sussudio - Phil Collins The cool thing is you can think of “a girl that’s been on my mind” as being Sue Sudio. Phil Collins said it was a nonsense “filler” word he had while he was working on the song, and it stuck. Lyrically (aside from the title) it’s about the typical boy wants to meet girl thing. Musically, that’s some heavy funk coming out of a white boy! (If you’ve ever watched Collins’ “dance” moves you have to wonder how he got to be such a great drummer. ) Not a great title, and you may not even care for the lyrics, but it’s definitely one to get your feet moving.
