I have one tomato plant growing in my garden and now it has three little tomatoes on it and more flowers. We’re going away tomorrow for about a week but my friend will keep an eye on it for me. I wonder if they'll ripen before we get home. I doubt it.
It should get watered automatically but sometimes the system goes haywire so it’s good to have someone checking on it from time to time.
We’re heading south to Gnowangerup then a bit further south-er (is that a word?) to a music festival held on a farm somewhere. We’ll be free-camping for three days so will have to be sparing with our water usage as you can’t fill up with water there.

I have 3 little green tomatoes on the vine. I don't think they have frozen, but they are too little to take inside and grow them unless I just take the whole vine in..

@sallypup Yeah, possibly but they are the size of a pea.
. I don't think they would grow bigger inside unless I brought the whole vine in.

@snowy22315 I have a few mini tomatoes that I should go grab. Even pea sized home tomatoes add a lot of flavor to something like scrambled eggs.

Try 'no-ANGer-up'. It's named after the aboriginal word fo 'mallee fowl' which was once common in the area. There is a facility there that tells all about it. I doubt they'd have live ones. Here's one we saw on the road down that way. Here is a photo of a stuffed one.

The biggest is a good size. Hopefully the others will grow bigger over the next few weeks.

I picked all of my green tomatoes this past week, before the first killing frost. Some were green, some were half ripe. I brought them inside to ripen--not as good as sun ripened, but we haven't really had much sun, and the vines froze. I pulled them up. I will miss the fresh tomatoes, they are one of my very favorite foods.
