Its National Chocolate Day

Even if these national days are made up who wouldn't want to use today as an excuse to eat chocolate?
Normally I try not to keep chocolate in the house as it's just too tempting but I do have a bag for Friday for Trick or Treating. Do I dare open it and have a piece (or two)?
I love any kind of chocolate covered coconut and anything that is chocolate, peanuts and caramel.
But, I'd never turn down plain old chocolate either

I do prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate but if dark chocolate isn't available I certainly wouldn't turn down milk chocolate, add nuts and I'm in heaven

I really like M&Ms and Snickers. Almond Joys are really good too. Opening the bag is a slippery slope..

I love all those too but prefer a Mounds over Almond Joy (not that I wouldn't eat an Almond Joy

Rolos are my favorite, but I don’t often eat chocolate. It’s weird because my mom loved chocolate. But she said when she was pregnant with me, and she’d eat chocolate, I’d repeatedly kick her. I guess chocolate was never my thing. I’m more of a Payday candy bar person.

I love any kind of chocolate. George and I also bought a bag of candy for possible Trick-or-treaters. I played it safe, got a 150 pice bag. I also made sure I bought stuff I'd eat, because if there's left overs I won't leave it for a year.

@Marilynda1225 Yeah, we're not expecting many. So I suspect we'll have leftovers. There were larger packs with things I just won't eat, and I hate feeling like we wasted money.

Getting stuff you like is smart especially since candy is so expensive this year. At least it won't go to waste if you don't get many trick or treaters

I try not to eat it very often but with Halloween this week I had to buy some for the trick or treaters and we get a good amount of kids ringing the bell

I like just plain milk or white chocolate, Three Musketeers or chocolate and caramel. I keep 70% dark chocolate in the house now to regulate my blood sugar and BP.
