My Haircut

@DaddyEvil I am envious. I have curly hair but it frizzes more now than curls. The color of your hair is gorgeous.

@noni1959 Thank you. People keep calling my hair brown but it's really red. It depends on where the picture is taken what color it looks like. The last two pictures have been taken in our bathroom under LED lights. That's why I ask Pretty to take pictures before my hair finishes drying. It frizzes really bad, especially when the humidity is really high.

Nope... But good try at trying to worry me. My brothers started going bald before they were 18. I won't lose my hair.

Of course I still have to comb it. It would really be a mess if I didn't.

@DaddyEvil that's right, I don't comb my hair because it's cut too short and even then it only leave 1cm.

Sorry I haven't been here in a long while - I had to step away from being online. I've been so disgusted with all that's going on in this country - I just had to do some serious self care. My brain is much clearer now - so maybe it's time to jump back in !

@much2say Pretty says I have some white hair in the back but I can't see any... I DO see some in my comb every morning, though. If you could see me head on, you'd see a white streak in the middle of my hair. Edit to add: I'm glad you're doing better now. I can't handle what's happening since somebody was elected and ignore the news to the best of my ability. Of course, some people on myLot insist on saying stupid things so I ignore them, too. I wondered what had happened to you. We're both okay for right now. I turned 62 a few days ago so am going to see about starting my Social Security since I can't get disability. At least we'll have more than Pretty's income coming in.

@LindaOHio Exactly! Even if I don't need to wash my hair, I still run water over it and then comb it. It stays however I've combed it all day unless there's a strong wind or I go to sleep for a while.

@DaddyEvil You're very welcome. I remember trying to get my hair straightened at the salon and also trying to iron my hair to give me the trendy straight hair in the 60s. It didn't work! Now I love the curly hair. I wash it and run a brush through it; and I'm done.

I'm happy it's easier to take care of again.

@porwest It was taking me 15 minutes to finger comb it before I could try to run a comb though it every time I woke up or started getting ready to go anywhere. I still have to get it damp before I comb it but then it stays that way until I go to sleep on it again.
