Does this sound good?

City Bites (primarily a sandwich shop) is offering a Thanksgiving baked potato. A huge potato topped with turkey, stuffing, gravy, and a side of cranberry sauce. I’m not sure I could do the gravy on it. I realize we put gravy on mashed potatoes, but for some reason, maybe my recent nausea problems, that part sounds iffy. Plus, some people’s gravy isn’t good.
What do you think?

@AmbiePam I don't think so..doesn't sound familiar. If they are expanding though...we might well get one. in Central Virginia. Richmond is a huge foodie town, one of the reasons I like it.

@snowy22315 You’d love them. Their cookies are huge, and the pumpkin cookies are delicious. The baked potatoes are large and the toppings are inventive. And the sub sandwiches are fresh and original. I used to love the seafood sub.

Yum it sounds good maybe you could ask for it without the gravy or ask for the gravy on the side.

@AmbiePam Yeah that way it is not to overloaded and if you don’t like the gravy you don’t have to eat it

Whoa. Where exactly do they put all that--unless they have really big taters!

@xstitcher I’d rather make my own small one at home with just sour cream and cheddar cheese.

I don't enjoy gravy. I'm a vegetarian. But I love to taste fried potatoes.

I haven't heard of that restaurant. But the potato sounds good. Not sure I would want gravy on it, either, there's more than enough there without gravy. Plus, I don't think of baked potatoes having gravy somehow.

Textures can make a huge difference in whether or not I want to eat something, so I totally understand it.

I like the idea. It sounds like I may plan this for leftovers.

I think I'd try it! I'd probably have more of an issue with the cranberry sauce (sometimes it's just way too sweet or chunky for me) - but as long as it is on the side, that's fine. I love gravy - especially to bind it all together, but sometimes restaurant gravies can be too salty. Oh man, sorry you are experiencing nausea!

I love all that food but not sure I'd want it all on top of a baked potato. Guess it's something I'd have to try?

I make baked potatoes in an airfryer but usually use veggies for stuffing and have my Indian chutney.

If it was sausage gravy, and no stuffing I'd be all over that!
