One Week Away / myLot

Well, next Friday I’ll be leaving for Disneyland with my sister and brother-in-law at 4am (they’ll pick me up). They plan on staying the night with my dad the night before out of convenience. We’ll drive to our hotel by Monday morning, pick up my scooter (can’t stand or walk long), and then my sister and I will go to the Princess Breakfast. She says the girls won’t get upset not going since they’ve been to one already. The rest of the day we’ll spend at downtown Disney. The next few days will be in the theme parks, and we’ll go home Thursday morning, and arrive back Saturday. An eight day trip. Honestly, all I care about is spending the time with the family. Rides will be fun, food will be good, but nothing compares to being with the kids and my sister and her husband.

Sounds like a fun trip for everyone and I hope you have a wonderful time. You know I treasure family time more than anything so spending your trip to Disney with your family is the frosting on the cake.

I hope you will have a great trip, and that everything goes according to plan. One suggestion though...prepare for the unexpected. You never know. We will miss you, hope you get to check in here.

Thanks, snowy. I’ll definitely have time to check in on the days we drive to and from California (I think). I think I prepared the best I could for scenarios that are possible, but unlikely. However, my sister probably thought of things I didn’t.

I want you to have the best time with them, so I hope you feel good for the trip and take it as easy as possible. I think the idea of a Princess Breakfast with your sister is wonderful.

the trip might be tiring and exhausting considering that it is an 8hour trip but the experience and memories you created with the kids and yiur sibling will be worth it.
