I Ate Too Much

So I didn't feel like doing anything when we got home. I was even late feeding the chickens their afternoon meal. But I think they forgave me for that . I did start experimenting with a couple of different ways to hang the heat lamp this afternoon. I think I have that worked out now. It will just be putting everything together. I will get that at least started tomorrow. Hope you had a good day.

We had an at home day that was badly needed. I didn't get a lot accomplished, but I needed a day at home. Heat lamps are a good idea to keep babies warm.

Did you finally cook that young rooster for dinner? I'm not feeling my best this evening but hope I'm feeling better by tomorrow. I have an early doctor appointment. We'll need to leave at 8 am to get to the appointment on time in Springfield and I don't want to be sick for this first visit to the new Endo. Have a good night.

@wolfgirl569 He'd make a nice soup for dumplings, though. I feel better, thanks. I'm just tired today. I liked the new Endo. Pretty said she liked him much better than the old one.

It has been a slow day for me. I knew my student would be absent, but went in to talk to someone at school. More of that in a discussion. Bob napped, and I filled in on the bus for Shandy.

I wonder if you get enough sunlight for solar lights? Those could help sometimes without you paying for electricity. I remember too well stringing a power cord from the house so that our hens were warmer.

I don't try to keep the chickens warmer. The building doesn't feel bad at all once they are all inside. We often don't get enough for stuff to last all night.
