Of course, it started storming when it was time for us to leave for the Endocrinologist's office this morning. We drove through rain and fog both on the way. We made it there just fine. (Using the GPS on Pretty's phone.
) Coming home was much better. We just had to contend with light fog.
We both like the new Endo MUCH better than the old one. He asked when I'd last seen an Ophthalmologist and I told him last year and have an appointment to see the eye specialist again on December 9th. He said that was fine.
This guy asked a LOT more questions than the other guy did, then did an examination, looked at the ultrasound of my thyroid my GP ordered last month, checked the prescriptions I'm taking for everything and said everything looked fine to him. He ordered blood tests, which I did before we left his office.
If there's anything wrong, he said one of the nurses will call me.

@DaddyEvil Funny you. I'm driving about a mile to the grocery store this mornning and no further. For once we have sunshine so I must wake up and walk some dogs around the block.

I'm glad this Endo was nicer. Fog already? We haven't had any here yet. Hopefully the nurse won't need to call you.

@DaddyEvil ........I enjoy watching the fog grow but I don't like trying to drive in it.

Thank you. We've had pea-soup fog several times this fall. When we went to Springfield to see my Endo, it wasn't that bad. I think the rain kept it from getting too thick.
I hope I don't hear from his nurses until time for my next blood test in six months.

@celticeagle I've never seen fog rolling in. It's always in place when I start moving around and then I ignore it unless I have to drive through it. It is NOT fun to drive through.

@DaddyEvil - I hope so for you, I am not very happy to have to deal with doctors all the time.

@LadyDuck Thanks... I don't want to drive 124 km just to see a doctor who isn't actively doing anything except talking to me every six months. I have four who do that and they're all in Springfield within a few city blocks of each other but won't allow me to see two of them on the same day.

I agree, some genuinely care and want the best for us while others are only using us to collect a paycheck.
Thanks. I hope you and your family are all doing well.

I like doctors that actually communicate, that talk and listen to their patients.

Thank you. I was really worried something would go wrong.
He's Indian so I had trouble understanding a few words but mostly did fine.
