I was leaving a Thanksgiving message on Facebook for the members and my Social Surveyors when I discovered this picture. It was so cute I wanted to share it with you.
I hope our American members have a safe, happy and blessed Thanksgiving.
What are you doing for Thanksgiving? What is your favorite dish to make and/or eat? Do you have any special Thanksgiving traditions?
As you know, cousin #2 will be coming over around 11:30 am Thanksgiving morning to start cooking. She will leave in time to get home before dark.
The s**w forecast for my area is 6-10". Just south of us it's up to 15". I hope cousin #2 can get here and home safely. The wind is extremely strong.

My relatives and myself will likely be eating turkey tomorrow and enjoying the sports events.

That IS a very cute picture.
That snow just better not get in the way of getting your Thanksgiving meal. I want you to have that so badly.
Tomorrow my dad will be with his wife’s family for Thanksgiving, and my sister and her family will be at home because they are sick. So I’ll stay home with my dog and watch football. Friday though, I’m taking sausage balls I’m making and going over to my dad’s so my dad, stepmom, and I have our own Thanksgiving. They weren’t going to do our own, but I already had the ingredients for sausage balls, and Diana already had the ham and ingredients for deviled eggs and squash casserole. Plus, I just wanted some relaxed time with my dad.

I am not doing that no more thankfully. My stepfather did that but just one turkey and to be fair my mom was like show them. They going to like the turkeys to much. Trying to teach six and seven year olds to be men and women
. Its takes more than that to show them what slaughtering a turkey looks like. I never got that lesson and for once more mad at mom than my step father. He was actually the one with the heart for once.
Sorry, pictures like that and presidential pardons not a good lesson. Just get it over with and we kids get it and now lets be thankful for all the things the earth has blessed us with. Amen. Happy thanks giving miss lady. Treat all things well for as long as they on this earth. We all made out of the same thing.

Thanksgiving used to be a big get together for the family, now it is a much smaller one...but glad we get together still with this part of the family. I like the mashed potatoes and gravy lol. Hope you'll enjoy the meal and day. We will be on the road to my great aunt's at 11:30 our time.

It takes less than 1/2 hour to get here. She almost had an accident on the way home though. A guy backed into his driveway right in front of her. She slammed on the breaks, slid, went over the curb and onto the treelawn. She and her dog were OK.

I wish that wind would stop. Something is banging on the roof; and I don't know what it is.

That is the cutest photo. My son and I are going to his ex-wife's for Thanksgiving. It will be two of my granddaughters, my son, his ex and her husband. We'll have ham, green beans, stuffing, rolls, apple and pumpkin pies. We don't make turkey and many times we go out of town or barbecue. We don't do special traditions and try to be thankful daily. Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well and I hope you get some good eats.
We do all the traditional fare...the green bean casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and so on and so forth. We'll also do a turkey and a ham as we always do, and personally I prefer the ham over the turkey.
We will have our gathering on the 29th.

Whoop, whoop, whoop are my sentiments and I had a gloomy day outside as well. I now you enjoyed your Thanksgiving meal today and I hope you have plenty left over. I had some tater tots and chicken pieces.
