@rebelann Honestly, I didn't do anything for Thanksgiving because both my daughter and my girlfriend had to work. So no big turkey celebrations in my household. But we did make up for it by going to Disney World on Friday! lol

@rebelann The day before Tday, I roasted a small turkey and simmered the bones to start a soup. My mom has teeth procedures going on, so we figured soup would be more appropriate for her. So we did a Tday soup lunch at her house. I had also given her a platter of turkey and fixings so she can have it in her own time. Then Hubby, Daughter, Son and I did some yardwork for her - we got a lot done! Then when I got home, I made another turkey (yep) and made some more fixings for our dinner at home. The weekend means plenty of leftovers !

Hey, maybe make some turkey quesadillas instead of sandwiches, I love quesadillas. Then again, I love several mexican dishes but always put my own flair on em. What do you generally do with left overs? Ok, you're not fair, now I'z hungry and its all your fault

Yes, I too am grateful for your friendship. It was relaxing yesterday. I'm so glad you like that video, it took a while to finally find it, there were so many greeting videos. How was your TG?

Thank you, after this shot they wized up to me and my phone so now when I pick up the phone they stop what they're doing and Tuffy walks off in regal kitty fashion as if he's ticked off. Oh my, that sounds like both fun and a whole lotta work. I'm guessing the fun was worth the effort.

@rebelann Your babies have you wrapped around their paws. Don’t try to deny it.. I just edited my comment. I left out best. Lots of work and everyone brought more food than they said they would. What made it wonderful was that my brother and nephew didn’t make racial comments or bring up politics. When I spoke to him the next day, I asked him if he mentioned that to his son. My brother knows how we all feel about those subjects. He said that they discussed it in the car on the drive up.

I'm so glad they were considerate of your feelings toward those unnessary kinds of topics. I've been watching a lot of Johnny Carson lately and I was totally unaware how much racial commentary was made by almost everyone back in the 70s, shameful but it was the times so I ignore it. Thankfully it's no longer tolerated.
