It feels hard to wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving when I know so many people are struggling and don’t feel blessed right now. My thoughts are with anyone having a hard season and not feeling blessed.
May you find connections, peace, kindness, and hope for the future.
My son and I have been in our travel trailers with horrible weather and a lot of issues, so I get it. We had activity with electric being installed in the house yesterday, so hope of a Christmas in the house is what we are holding on to today.
I had a rough night and felt overwhelmed, and then opened my door to a rainbow over the river. The rain has since come back, but that rainbow reminded me of hope.

I felt badly for a few people here who I know would love to be with family, but can’t. I wasn’t sure how many would welcome a Happy Thanksgiving.
The rainbow is lovely! My dad is with his wife’s family today on actual Thanksgiving, so I’m just watching football. Tomorrow is our usual get together at my dad’s, and that is when my sister’s family usually comes up for our family Thanksgiving. This year, though, she and her family are sick. So it will just be my dad, his wife, and me. Which I’m still grateful for.

Such nice wishes you put out there. At least the situation you and your son are experiencing is something you have chosen where these poor people out in the world having such a hard time did not choose any of it. I think the rainbow is showing you that good things are coming for you and yours. I hope so anyway. Hope is so important, especially when there seems to be nothing else around.

I did but she stayed in bed all day. She does that sometimes. I don't know why.

@DaddyEvil I hope she is OK. Sometimes, we need a day of "hiding" just to recharge. I hope that is why.

@sallypup We had so much food today. I ate more today than I have been but feel content. I don't eat pie often but had a piece of apple and a small piece of pumpkin a few hours later. Tomorrow, I can do better. It's been pouring so much today, there are rivers flowing down the property.

I hope things for you will be smooth from now on. Cousin #2 came over and fixed a Thanksgiving meal. I felt really blessed that I didn't have to be alone.

I feel blessed because I have a special family and some wonderful friends. So many don't have anyone at all. I think so many are struggling in so many ways, we can't give up. Hope for a good future! Yes!
I am glad the electricity is installed in the house! And that you had a special rainbow, full of hope.
