She's 106!!

My great aunt by marriage Laura, is now 106...She had her picture in the newspaper. We went to her 100th birhday several years ago..this lady just seems to go on and on like the energizer bunny. It was emotional seeing her turn 100. She babysat occasionally when we were young. She was and is a pleasant, cheerful and religious woman. Happy Birthday Aunt Laura!

I had one aunt live to be 101, but she’s been gone a long time now.

I have had blood relatives on both sides of the family live to 100. She is in a senior facility but when was 100, was microwaving her own dinner meals.

My aunt mowed her own yard with a push mower until she was like 98. She was rather upset when her sons took the mower away from her and insisted on mowing for her.

106. Wow, I'd love to live that long so long as I have my health, mostly, and can still do things I enjoy. Seems a lot of people do live longer these days, but its still rare to see people living past 100. Always amazing to read a story about one who has, though.

I think she figures if God gives her another day she is going to live it. She is probably never disappointed to wake up.

@snowy22315 you reminded me of a dear friend of mine who when I called him and asked How are you? He replied I'm alive and he was then in his 90s.
