We finally got some snow.

Well, parts of Oklahoma got snow earlier in the week, but it snowed overnight here, and continues right now. I don’t mind it, but I called my primary care and asked for a telehealth appointment instead of in office, and she complied. It was definitely something that could be taken care of over the phone. I do love snow, and it appears people are driving sensibly today because there are no accidents. Of course, the other day it was “just” pure ice, and more people wrecked.
Tomorrow it should disappear. What’s your forecast?

We got another dusting of snow overnight but it's not likely to melt away today as:
"Windy with on and off snow showers this morning. Then peeks of sunshine later. High -4°C. Winds NW at 30 to 50 km/h. Chance of snow 50%. Higher wind gusts possible."

@BarBaraPrz Do you ever intentionally go sledding on the snow?
I hope your forecast is wrong and you get sunny and warm weather instead.

I'm glad you finally got some snow there. You should think about getting your sled out and having some fun while the snow is there.
We're supposed to see flurries this afternoon and I'm tired of snow already.

I would so do that if I had a sled! But the only good hill around is by the interstate. By the interstate, and still, people, every time it snows, get their sleds, and slide down that sucker, stopping themselves before the grass turns into the actual road.

@AmbiePam We used to sled down a long hill at one of the city parks when I was younger and that's where I took Pretty sledding when she was a kid through her teen years. Luckily, that hill turns into another hill with a chain link fence, to keep us from sliding onto a city street.
When I was a teenager, we tied sleds onto trucks and my brothers or a neighbor pulled us along the country roads where we lived.

Cold and snow tomorrow..but doesn't sound like it is going to amount to much.

In this part of India we don't ever have snowfall. I've seen snowfall on tv or pics or movies. It looks wonderful and I want to enjoy it once. Snowfall happens in the northernmost part of our country. I have never been there.

@AmbiePam Travelling to our northernmost states has been on my bucket list. Whenever the opportunity comes, I'll not let it go.

I’m glad you don’t have to drive in it. I know what you mean, I am confident with my own driving but not with other drivers at times. We still have all of our original snow from the weekend and Monday. Got a dusting yesterday. It’s not going to melt any time soon. No more currently in the forecast until Sunday. Stay warm and safe!

Today it's cloudy and pretty chilly. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain and be rather cold.

I've been noticing for some time now that in the US they use 'wreck' whereas we'd say 'had an accident' or 'ran into someone' or whatever. We'd say the car was wrecked/a wreck/a write-off if it was very badly damaged. Just another little difference between us. It's good you were able to get a telehealth appointment.

That's good if you can do a visit over the phone and/or video.... I tried but those are worse than in person for me lol. Some places are worse when the snow/ice appears I guess...
We got maybe an inch of snow the other night, I think we are good for a few days and then might get another snowfall. Can it be summer already? LOL

Do you like snow around? Most of the people here complain it's inconvenient

Still cold enough to keep Tuesday's snow on the ground.
