They Want to Kill Me

So I got an email with a lovely attachment officially telling me to pay a certain amount or to leave the premises in five days. Well, I paid my rent. I always pay my rent. But Housing has to pay their portion too. So I’m thinking Housing didn’t pay, and I’ve got to get a hold of someone in the apartment office. Only no one has been in the office all week. So I call, and leave a message, and then reply to the email. Too long awhile later, I get a reply that there is an office error, and I’m fine. Apparently, it’s going out to dozens of people. Do you know how many people they just upset? I was trying to call Housing, but they close at noon on Fridays. I’m relieved it was a mistake, but today has just been crazy, and it’s only 12:33pm. I need my blood pressure taken. On the plus side, I went to the post office today, and no one was in line. Blessed! LOL How’s your day so far?

Why did you get a late notice in the first place, if it's a payment you have no access to? It's on their end, housing.

My day's been pleasant, I suppose. I slept till 8am, had breakfast and did some online stuff then moved to the couch and read several chapters of A Brewski for the Old Man, made a cup of tea and came here now. It's -1°C, sunny and not windy,

Believe me, I understand. Ever since the government closed, Pretty was a wreck, thinking they wouldn't pay their share of our rent. She wouldn't spend any money or let me spend any, saying we might have to pay the full amount of the rent ourselves for a while. (The government pays well over half our monthly rent here.) I'm glad the letter was a mistake but that isn't a mistake they should make. You're the second person to complain that they can't get ahold of their apartment management... I'd complain about that to Section 8 people and see what they say. It's in the Section 8 paperwork management and you signed that they have to be available and contactable for the contract to stay valid. At least it is here. Check your copy and see if that's true in Oklahoma, too. I'm glad something went right for you today.

That would have upped my anxiety and made me sick for the rest of the day. I am glad everything is all right. That is like the confusion I got in my email about a Vocal Media story; it said my story was not accepted because it was not in English. Then later I get a note that the computer worked by A1 got things confused and other people had the same emails and finally it got sorted out.

I would have been like, not in English? Did English change all of a sudden?

Well I just posted how my afternoon was today, so it is up there. Much less stressful than yours, although the first grade teacher says she has never had a class quite like this one and a very experience other para says the entire class has ADHD. Merry Christmas to all and let us not battle too hard with our glue bottles.

Stuff like that never fails to set me off. It is just so unnecessary! Sometimes I get so uncalled for mail from my mortgage holder..and that makes me really upset. I feel your pain

Well, I got up later than I would have cared to, went for a walk, and now I feel like I'm coming down with something. I actually tried to get some Emergen-C from the Swanson Vitamin place, but I got a message that there was something wrong with my credit card or I was over my limit or something? I checked the credit card site and couldn't find anything wrong. Guess I should just stick to a brick-and-mortar store for that.

Yeah, and I hope you can get some. I feel like if I had treated my cold early it wouldn’t have taken so long to get over it.

Oh my goodness, those kind of errors are unacceptable. They stress people and they cause people to waste their time to call them and to try to fix a problem that does not exist. I had a nice morning, we went to the Mall and I did some shopping.

Yikes! that would have made my blood pressure skyrocket too. Glad it was an error but I feel bad that you and everyone else had to go through all that anxiety.

I can imagine such an error would really stress out those it affected. PO lines here are out the door too.

It's cold here and I am feeling lazy. I am staying in a single house which I own. So no interference.

My day is good, but right now I am little bit worried because my money almost empty in my wallet. What can I do?
