Have you gone to see the Christmas lights yet?

This is a picture taken at the Tulsa Botanical Gardens the other night when my sister and BIL took their kids. It’s best, apparently, to take kids with eye problems like Hudson’s at dusk to see lights. Not that they don’t go when it’s completely dark too, but they try to let him see in optimal conditions as well.
Have you gone specifically to look at lights yet? There is a place about 20 minutes away from me we go to every year that was featured in The Great Christmas Light Fight. Hopefully, we go this year too.

We have only seen what's been lit up on our back and forth trips. There are several streets here that really go crazy in the lights and decorations, I did drive down those the other evening so that we could see them. They are not far from my home. But no, we won't be going out of the way to see big lights this year, I don't think. I hope you get to go to the one you want to go to!

The son gets down over Christmas. He wants to be working like he always has until all of this happened...I told him the best present I could have is that he and his siblings are all alive, and that the presents don't matter...but he loves to give gifts, he always has. I told him, it's not about the gifts.

That's gorgeous. I want to go to see the house I saw last year..It's about half an hour from here, but quite a show worth the drive.

It has been a while since we have done that. The county lake will have a special night of displays, though and we should go.

I would not know where to look for them here even though I have been here for 8 years, I stay inside. There is also supposed to be a lighted boat parade on the Halifax River but with my luck I would probably fall in

I really enjoy riding around my neighborhood and to other nearby towns to view Christmas lights. I have seen a few in my travels so far and will take a longer drive to see them before Christmas. There are a few really great ones I've seen over the years.
Here is a photo of one (not the best picture but it was impressive in person)

We don't bother going to see the city lights. Our city is known as The City of White Lights for a reason.

I haven't driven around locally to see holiday lights in my own city, but last night we drove to St. Augustine on the east coast of Florida to see their Christmas lights. They go all out decorating everything they can attach lights to. They call it "Night of Lights" (even though it's the whole season and not just one night). Oh, and last weekend we went to Disney World to check out all their lights and holiday decorations. They really go all out there as well.
