Wheee! Have you heard of "Target?" I was in and out of there in 15 mins today!

"Target" is a large American retailer that sells everything from aspirin to shoes and sheets. It is not as famous for "unusual fashion statements" as Walmart, but going there can be an adventure.
Today I went to Target for a couple of pillows (mine are getting old and misshapen) and a decent flashlight (mine are all LED-based and don't illuminate well).
I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, pillows and flashlight in hand.
The pillows feel squishy and symmetrical. I hope the flashlight works. I have
to replace some tubes in my stereo amplifier.
Have you heard of Target and Walmart?
I was pleasantly surprised that my post-work shopping was not an ordeal.

I’m a Target Circle member. They’re the only place that carries the Yasso peanut butter & chocolate yogurt bars. I like them. They’re a little more expensive than Wally World, but their employees seem to not want to take out their frustration on the shoppers the way Walmart employees do.

I prefer Target for a lot of things. What I do purchase there doesn't require visiting them often, but the quality of a lot of their items seems excellent, and if I get what I need on sale, it's the same as Walmart's prices or better. I am a Target Circle member, too. And I have to agree, their employees are a lot more helpful and seem very kind.

No. However, Walmart bought Flipkart which is big in ECommerce in India.
Also Walmart had a tie up with some big offline chains as well.

That is fine.
However I doubt that Target had outsourced its backend IT to an Indian form.
Plus companies like GAP Retail.
Not sure of that counts any more.

15 minutes is very quick !
I think I have a picture of Target of year 2010 in Jersey City.
You did not overspend and got only the essential stuff only.

Then you could be my mentor in this domain!
I tend to buy more than required.

There is a Target in Springfield but we don't shop there when Walmart is 2 miles from our house.
I hope the flashlight works well for you. I have LED flashlights and am glad they have that adjustable head so you can focus the light at whatever distance from you.

@TheHorse I'm sorry you have problems with them. Both of mine work well and are rechargeable so I don't have to worry about batteries for them.

My nephew used to work at Target before he started to work at Wal Mart since Target cut his hours a few years ago.

I like Target. Their home products are very nice and they have good selections.
Did you know you are supposed to replace your bed pillows every 1-2 years?

@TheHorse I generally make a monthly sojourn there or at least every other month. They have super cheap frozen veggies.

We don't have a Target in our town, but we have shopped there when we are traveling through cities that do.

I don’t get to go to Target often. We don’t have one near us, but I do like it.

We have a Target store clear the other side of town. I have been in it a few times. I found it more expensive that I am used to and we got shoes there for my granddaughter one time too.
I need new pillows too. I will probably wait for a sale at Kohl's where I got the last two. I really liked them.

Target is not convenient for me; and I don't like it as much as Walmart. We have a Walmart Supercenter about 6 miles from here. That's where I get my groceries from. I'm glad you were able to get out of Target with only 2 things! lol
