My Favorite Christmas Song

Mary, Did You Know? with lyrics by Mark Lowry and music by Buddy Greene was first released in 1991 on a self-titled debut album by Michael English. It has since been recorded by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd in 1996 and Clay Aiken in 2004, two of my favorite versions. But the best version, in my opinion, is by the a cappella group, Pentatonix, which was released in 2014. Mary, Did You Know? expresses the true meaning of the season; and I hope you enjoy it. It gives me goosebumps. Photo Credit: Wikimedia Commons - Pentatonix

Oh, I love this song. I listed it as my favorite Christmas song when someone mentioned it a couple weeks ago. It’s so triumphant. I could go on and on, and I hope people will listen to it.

It's a sad song, beautiful lyrics, but sounds sad for Christmas.
