22 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 34 F right now. We had snow this morning. 
I am still thankful even with my having COVID.
I'm thankful for all the sleep I'm getting.
I'm thankful I can take care of myself, it's not been easy, but I've managed to make my meals. I don't have much of an appetite, so it helps that I'm not hungry and don't eat much.
I'm thankful for the phone call I got from my daughter tonight. We talked for over an hour. She told me to keep hydrated, suggested Pedialyte, and get sleep.
I'm thankful for my son's girlfriend who will do a curbside pickup for me tomorrow. I gave her the order number after I completed the order.
I'm thankful for the rest I got watching Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers today.
I'm thankful I have a walker to get around the apartment. I really need it as I have zero energy.
Okay, that's my day. Lots of rest.

I am grateful that the visit to the hospital revealed that my swollen leg was not infected and that the medicines given to me are working.

Sending all positive thoughts for your speedy recovery. Take care and get well soon.
I am thankful that after a long wait, we can go for a family vacation tomorrow. Things have finally worked out. Also thankful that I am feeling all okay after few days of feeling low under weather and being overworked during last few days of work.

Too bad you are sick at Christmas, but it sounds like you are managing. This strain of Vivid seems to zap your energy.

@just4him My dad couldn't get out of bed. That is why he ended up in the hospital. He brought home a walker, but hasn't been using it around the house.

I'm thankful that you have your son's girlfriend to make a grocery pickup for you. I have Pedialyte in my pantry. Too bad you don't live closer.

I am thankful that you can do the minimum and take care of yourself while you are sick. I am thankful for neighbors who want to help with a tree that fell in my yard.

I am terribly sorry you caught Covid. I found it very lonely even though I had my hubby here- he was very ill so he wasn't much company. I am glad you have help with getting the supplies that you need.
Today I am grateful for three very good friends that I visited with today. I am also glad that I got home safely.
