It's Getting Close To This Years End

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's downright cold and extremely windy here today. The wind overnight was fierce and it was hard to sleep.
I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee and chatting. There's nothing more fun than having coffee with friends 
Once I get my usual things done around the house my "big" plan is to pick a book to read. My cousin recommended a good book so that's going to be my next read. Would you believe I haven't read a book in over a month!? Too busy getting ready for the holidays so now it's time to get back into the reading mode.
Can't believe that tomorrow is New Years Eve and we'll be ringing in another year.
I don't do resolutions but I do set myself goals and I'm happy that I was successful in the ones I set for 2025.
This morning (on my daily tv show) they were talking about goals and making vision boards. I've never actually made a vision board have you?

Not a real one no. It is something I should do. I once put up a fortune from a Chinese restaurant that said you will move into a lovely home in the next year..and guess what? I did.

Wow that was a good fortune.
I've never done a vision board but I did do a daily journal this year and am feeling happy with my accomplishments even if they were small ones.

I'm looking forward to hopefully a quiet start to the new year. Yes December is a very busy month for us but fun and good busy.

I don't even know what a vision board refers to.
I read for at least some amount of time every day. Usually using my phone with the Kindle app and ebooks I select from a library online. I haven't completed as many ebooks as I usually do but I think that's because I've been choosing collections by one author or omnibuses for the past several years.
Right now I'm reading everything written by Lawrence Watt-Evans in a single file. I think there are 74 separate books in the compendium that I'm reading now. Kindle counts that as a single book.

@Marilynda1225 I bought some of his books when I still had room to store them but now, I can only read ebooks. When I find an author I like, I read everything they've published up to that time and keep looking for more.

That is quite interesting that you're reading everything by Evans. I also like to download books and read on my kindle. Once I find an author I like i tend to read more of their books than jump from author to author.

It was cold in here last night. I turned the heat on in the bathroom and left all our bedroom doors open so that helped.
Nice that you met all your goals in 2025. 2026 should be an interesting year. I made a vision board once. It is interesting and really makes you think about your goals. I found it affective.

I haven't done a vision board but for 2025 I started a journal and wrote down some goals I wanted for the year. It was a daily reminder to stay on track and I can smile with my accomplishments even if they were small
