Yes, we did go out and I did buy groceries and use some coupons, but we did some enjoyable things as well. Libraries and thrift shops are always fun.
We have eaten quite well.
School will start back up and I will be at work come Monday so I am going to practice going to bed on time.
I got out and plugged in a CD player today. One of the things I want to do in this New Year is listen to more music while I am home. It makes me move around the house better. It is uplifting as well as relaxing.
Tomorrow I will pay my utilities as it is payday again for my school check.
Nothing too spectacular going on here, just the usual types of things at home.
Bob will be 80 on Sunday. That is a milestone for sure.

Music can be very uplifting that is for sure. Nothing too much going on here either. Just getting my room dusted and cleaned. It get dusty so fast.

I think the dry winter air makes dust even worse. Good for you getting things done. I dusted a ceiling fan this morning. It was yucky.

You are able to balance small joys of life along with the responsibilities. That is the way to live. We should make use of the coupons when we go to groceries. It is smart plus in these economic conditions we need to make use of the opportunities as they come. Well with the holiday season coming to an end, and starting Monday life is back to usual routines, it is nice to be on bed on time. Using the CD player again might have felt great. It is nice to listen to Music to calm ourselves and energize our minds. There are days I wish things were just normal and nothing major happening. We do need days to be easy to handle. Paying bill on time feels great and I too believe in same. My wishes to Bob. 80 is a milestone is definitely worth celebrating. Enjoy the time!
