71 days until spring. We've gained about 16 minutes of daylight in the evening.
Cousin #2 was here yesterday. She came over to jump the Subaru so she could get a picture of the odometer which is required from Carvana. It wouldn't turn over; so I called AAA. Fortunately I had the foresight to keep my membership active even though the car is now in #2s name. He was able to start the car. #2 entered all the required information on Carvana and received an amazing high offer. She took it of course. They will come and pick up the car on Saturday. I will be glad to get it out of the yard.
I have another contractor coming today to give me an estimate. I also have one coming tomorrow.
I have pretty much zoned in on what lights and doorbell camera I want.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Beef Stroganoff (stringy, tough, chewy pieces of beef), noodles, mixed veggies, cauliflower
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - Leftovers from New Year's dinner - Pork loin, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, stuffing, broccoli, apple crumble pie

@LindaOHio - I cannot wait to have light in the morning, I get up that it's dark, we have breakfast and it's still dark, we have to wait until around 8 am before the light comes.

That's good about the daylight in the evening, but I would appreciate it in the AM! Hate taking my son to school in the dark!
That's good to hear about the car...hectic but that's good it is being taken care of

Yes. It is staying light until 5:30 pm now. Yay! The last contractor is coming today to give me an estimate. Then it's a matter of ordering all the light fixtures, doorbell camera and then getting everything fixed and installed.

I'm glad it's a good offer on Carvana and the car will be out of your way soon.
I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, made hash browns for lunch and no supper.

The usual for lunch, creamy chicken & veggie soup for dinner. Apple “fritter” fake stuff that still tasted great! Yogurt! Fiber! I’m out of grapes!!!

Having the car picked up on Saturday will be one more thing you can cross off your list. Hope the estimates on what you want done doesn't cost too much and that you can get it done in a timely manner. Getting the doorbell camera is a good idea. I've been thinking of getting one myself.
Last night we had my favorite dinner....breaded and air fried eggplant cutlets with spaghetti.

Once I got a smartphone I wanted to get a new doorbell camera. The one that I have that never got installed is battery operated. I don't want to deal with having to charge it. This new one will be hard-wired. The other one required a separate screen...now I will be able to use my smartphone. I'm glad you had your favorite dinner.

Hoping the contractor would give you a good survey or estimate of lights, doorbell and camera. I guess it is CCTV.
