And I have to say this--it's not easy. It has been discovered that my son possibly has a serious medical condition other than all of those caused by the accident. Today, we go for some scans, etc. to dig deeper into this. He is worried, and so am I, although of course I am doing the mom thing and being as supportive as I can. I keep telling him that nothing is diagnosed for sure yet, that's what the tests are for. Have you ever wanted to just scream and yell, and tell the world, ''This isn't fair?'' It's what I want to do. Of course, I know my son isn't perfect--no one is. But he is kind, a good person, he's helped so many people over the years. He's built laptops and given them to veteran's who wanted or needed one. He's rescued animals. If he sees someone he can help, he tried to help them. I am not bragging when I say he is a good man--he truly is. Maybe I shouldn't write this. Maybe I should. He has requested that his father, and his siblings, know nothing of these additional tests, etc. until we get a firm answer, and of course I am respecting his wishes. The only person that knows anything so far besides me is my best friend, who is truly like my sister. He's tried so hard to get well, heal, and plan a new life. If you have any spare prayers, stars to wish on, good healing thoughts...you don't even have to type them, it's fine...please think a kind thought or two for him. He isn't one to seek attention. We are simply hoping and praying here for good results and a solution. Thank you, friends.
