Rescheduled Christmas / myLot

Adelines mom had counted the weekends wrong which can be easy to do. So we are doing it next weekend instead. I was starting to hope I could get the trees put away.

. This is the longest I have ever had them up. Since hubby won't be making chili I am going to put a roast in the slow cooker. It's been several months since we had one of those. I don't know if it will be a No Football Room day or not. Hubby still needs to check if he can get any of them. Hope you have a good day.

Roast sounds really good! I hope you enjoy it. When Pretty refused to help me take our Christmas tree down one year, I left it up. It was in a room we rarely used so didn't matter. When she refused to help me take it down the second year, I gave it and the decorations away. Then refused to buy a new tree for several years explaining that I wasn't doing all that work myself ever again. When I did buy a tree, it was hooked into the ceiling and was really made for outside so took little work to hang it and take it down. (Pretty griped about it not being a "real" tree, so when I took it down for the last time, I didn't buy another tree and, when she complained about not having a tree again, I said she didn't like our last tree... After a few years, I bought the tiny 5 inch tree we have now.

) It's nice outside here. I hope it's pretty there, too.

@wolfgirl569 You kept them up far longer than I normally did. I'd put the tree up a couple of weeks before Christmas but wanted the tree down by Christmas afternoon. And that was before I went to work at Walmart!

I didn't check to see if there's a Browns game today. I don't bother watching anymore. I just check the scores the next day. It's no fun to watch without my hubby.

I might go buy her a calendar and she can mark the weekends on it. Then she just needs to remember the holidays and they over ride weekends. That's what makes it confusing sometimes
