We have had very little snow this year. What we did get was nothing to shout about. But for the second morning in a row there was snow on the ground. It barely covered the grass but it was snow.
We need the moisture and I hope that we get more. Just not tons at a time this. I like the snow so I will welcome any you can send my way.

We got a little snow for about five minutes a couple of days ago. That was enough and is the normal amount these last few years. I live in a valley and most of the snow hits the mountains and misses us.

Here you can enjoy snowfall only in the northern states like Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand etc. I'm from the eastern part of India. Here we don't have snow2 people like this

I remember years ago, when I owned a trailer house in Colorado, I went out to check on things there and met a blizzard on the way from here to there. Driving through Kansas the snow was thick enough on the ground to make me take my time and be careful. When I crossed the Colorado state line, they had already plowed the roads and the snow piled up beside the highway was higher than my car. I drove through tunnels in the snow out to Fair Play where my trailer was parked... Once there, I slept all night and most of the next day before I was awake enough to go outside and look around.
The snow was several feet deep in the yard but it wasn't cold to me. I took off my coat and was walking around outside when friends came over to visit. They kept asking me if I was cold and I kept telling them it was comfortable for me there.
Now, I wouldn't even try to drive through snow like that. I hardly drive in snow at all now and only for a dire emergency. I hardly go outside when we have snow now. I'm always scared of falling in the snow and breaking a bone.
We've gotten one ice storm and two mild snowstorms this winter. Neither left enough to make a big difference. Luckily, it's been too warm when we got a lot of rain lately.
I hope you get more moisture this winter.1 person likes this

Yes, the roads in Colorado can be nasty. I never used to mind driving in the snow, but like you, I only drive in it if it is important. With the way people drive around here I am going to make sure that I am good and safe. I'm afraid of falling and breaking a bone also.

@velvet53 People here forget to give extra time when the weather is nasty out so they drive like they do when the weather is nice. Lots of accidents that way.

No snow here but we depend on the snow your area gets to fill the Rio Grande, I hope all those mountain areas that feeds that river gets plenty of snow this year.
