Birthday Plans

We have some birthdays coming up, but I won’t say in case they don’t want anyone to know. My sister’s birthday is February first, but she’s leaving that day to go on a cruise to Mexico with her friend. She’s been to Mexico several times, but her friend has never been out of the United States, and when her dad left her some money, her husband said he wanted her to do something fun with her friends. So, she invited my sister on a cruise.
I wanted to finally go sky diving on my birthday (my doctor cleared it), but I think these places don’t open until May. I’m not sure what I’ll do on my birthday (not until March), but I hope I do something! My dad and best friend will both be out of town.
What are your plans for your next birthday? I hope it’s as good as Lenore’s was yesterday! Hers sounded special!

NOT skydiving. There was a tandem jump company at the vacation show one year, when I thought about doing it. I was talking with the guy and teasing him about his name (Paul Williams, like the songwriter). About three months later, he was killed in a skydiving accident. I took that as God’s way of saying “Oh NO you don’t!”

@AmbiePam — yes, I understand. There’s a line in a Jimmy Buffett song that says, “I’d rather die while I’m living.” My philosophy exactly.

I am scared of heights, so no skydiving for me. My birthday comes around on March 1, and I will probably not do anything, but time will tell; I have to get there first.

Skydiving?? EEp. Give me a new wardrobe if I ever did more than hide in a plane's seat. I'm planning on going to a state park tomorrow with the dogs and my buddy. That's my level of excitement: staring at a lake and walking among fir trees.

Pretty and I usually don't do anything exciting for our birthdays. We pick out a cake we like but that's about it. Her birthday is in February and mine is in October...

@AmbiePam Yeah, I really didn't enjoy flying and to jump out of a perfectly functional airplane sounds insane to me.
Yes, she'll be 38 this year.

I just had a birthday (next year is a BIG one). No plans so far.
Wow sky diving is something worth waiting to do if it can't happen until the spring. Hopefully something special will pop up for you on your actual birthday

I'll turn 80 in July but am busy doing my best to dodge anything too fancy. A couple of small get-togethers/dinners will suit me. Our son from Ireland will be over and I don't want to spend the short time being too involved with planning and parties.

No sky diving for me!!! Cousin #2 will already be in Florida on my birthday; so I imagine I will spend it alone.

Enjoy your birthday. But when is your birthday? Your planning is really nice. Every birthday I just spend it at home or working, or I go to cafes. Lol!

I am petrified of heights. Oddly being on a plane doesn’t bother me. Mine is so far off that I’m not sure.

My birthday is the same as Anna's Feb. 24th. I don't know what I will do that day.

Daughter planned mine for Saturday evening. However we are expecting some snow this weekend, so we may have to put it off for a few days. Time will tell. When a person is born in January, and lives where it is often snowy and cold, you get used to changing plans for birthdays! I have lost track of the number of birthdays that traveling anywhere was just not the thing to do that day. But it's all good.

That's something I avoid to remember, while it indeed impending.May surly months to go,yet I have to get myself ready .I have written Math Ci as gift to myself for years,it's the way more and more narrow,I'm not sure I can do it every year in fact, only I must try next month.
create Ci(classical poem) with Math!totally self-sadistic

! My birthday isn't until 8 more months - I can't even think beyond this week
. Actually I hope I won't be the one to plan any of it . . . I will take a good surprise of any kind
Send him sky diving to my front door
