12 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from melting Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Today has been a good day.
I think I got done everything I planned to do today, which was basically to work on my book and do notifications.
I'm thankful for the time I was here this morning visiting with you. I enjoy knowing what's going on in your world. You're a huge part of my daily life.
I'm also thankful for the work I did on two books today. I got the font size changed for Faith to Believe. Now, I need to fix the chapters before I start the line edit. I also worked on New Horizons - Predators and Terrorists. I found out how long a line edit takes when I asked AI to line edit the first chapter. It took a couple of hours. For that book, I'll wait until I'm ready to start the publishing process before I do that again.
I'm thankful I also have the notifications done for WordPress. It was a productive day.
I'm thankful my package from Amazon arrived today. I had three items in the box: a new Brita pitcher, a new phone shield for my new phone case. I cracked the first shield putting the case on the new phone. And I have a new Alexa. This one connects to my contacts, so all I need to do is ask Alexa to call my son. It will make my life easier, I hope.

We had our final nutrition appointment from the VA today for George.The nutritionist or whatever her job title is, was thrilled Gorge finally got that awful peg tube out.She gave him some tips to keep it out, and warned him that if his weight drops to low, they'll recommend replacing it. I know he's scared of gaining to get back to 160, but I think he'll be okay because I don't see that happening. He can eat the normal three meals a day and still be fine.
