1/16/26 - Meals

63 days until spring. It was a rough day yesterday. Meals on Wheels didn't show up; so I'm assuming they cancelled due to the bad weather. Got the drive plowed. I hope he doesn't come again today. Some parts of NE Ohio got over 16 inches of s**w; so I guess I shouldn't complain. We got about 6.
Cousin #3 cancelled for Saturday.. Her husband has to work.
Cousin #2 got the house that I found for her. It's in Homosassa. She's all excited.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - No Meals on Wheels - Buffalo chicken and vegan cheese sandwich, veggie poppables and yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - Same as lunch

@LindaOHio - I remember that we enjoyed visiting, we rented a car in Orlando and we drove to Tampa and then down along the coast until Naples and the Everglades.

@LadyDuck We always flew to Miami, then took a small plane to Key West, rented a car and drove up the Keys, through the Everglades and flew back from Naples I think.

Sorry about the weather, and that she didn't come. That's good the other cousin got the house you found for her.

I had some tater tot casserole. Homosassa is in Citrus County. I used to visit area when I was married to my first husband. His parents retired down there. Homosassa Springs, and the Gulf Beach there are fun to visit

63 days??? Oh my gosh you are having to deal with that white stuff still. It feels like early summer here - I think we're in the 80s now - though next week we're supposed to go down to low 70s again. The heavy winds have made it dry dry dry

The lake is starting to freeze. Once it's frozen, that will shut off the s**w machine.

Bummer that you needed the driveway plowed again. Hope it doesn't need another go-round.
Hope you had enough to eat since MOW didn't show up. Sounds like it's pretty nasty and snowy there.
Happy that cousin #2 got the house but I'm sure you're going to miss her. Hope #3 reschedules and doesn't leave you hanging.
Last night we had roast pork tenderloin, red potatoes and broccoli.

That sounds good. I can only eat vegan/non-dairy cheese now because of my kidney disease.
