When I get up every morning I make my bed. I always have. Did you know that only 50% of people make their bed after they get up. If someone brags a lot . You should only believe 50% of what they say. The rest they just made up. When you smile at others that makes your brain very happy. Smart people have a smaller group of friends,

You are so right about people who brag, I think that believing 50% is making them a favor, I often only believe 10% My husband and I have very few friends, but good friends we can trust.

Why would smart people have fewer friends?

Make my bed? Why bother. Hubby gets up later than I do. That means that Rufus my coyote dog goes up and digs into the blankets on my side of the bed and snoozes until hubby gets up. So I make my bed when I go up at night to sleep.

I have one person I can call a true close friend and a few good new friends. I run a small circle. I get up, have coffee and then make my bed. I feel undone if it's not made. Great post for thought.

@jstory07 Some people argue their bed needs to air out, and though that is true, it's only 30-60 minutes. I get up, get my coffee, dressed etc. and then an hour has passed and I make mine.

@jstory07 I know my Mum felt it very important that each day the beds were made, dishes washed and the floor swept.

I sleep on my couch, so I don’t really have a bed to make. It’s, fold a blanket, and put away the pillow.

I only have 2 longtime friends. All the others turned out to be fake. When hubby worked 2nd and 3rd shifts, I couldn't make the bed; but I made it when I came home from work so I could sleep on top of the quilt and take a nap with my comforter on top of me. Heavenly. Cousin #2 constantly brags about how smart she is. Maybe she is; but they wanted me to skip 2 grades. She's not the only one with brains! HA!

Most of my friends were good friends but I had to leave them behind when we moved to Oregon. I have a few new friends here and my cousin.

I would fall into the not making the bed group. I'm just happy I'm awake and alive to live another day. Smiling is contagious!
