The sun is shining, the wind is blowing and the temperature is very COLD. I do not want to even take out trash. But I have.
I have been reading a book that the 5th grade students are reading. It is going really fast.Bob stayed in bed very late so I made a brunch dish of eggs, bacon, spinach, onions and cheese.
Bob has gone back to bed. I am currently sipping an herbal tea that has elderberry and other things in it.
We got that exercise bike, but it is still in the back of the pickup. I want it inside so I can use it, so I may brave the cold and wind to get to that point. If we must have high winds and cold temperatures, we should have snow, but we do not.
We had ten minutes of snow at about 3 yesterday afternoon. And a few flurries this morning.

We're getting some snow tonight (Sunday). They're calling for flurries here this morning. I really hope we don't get much. So far it's just a few flakes. I have an early morning doctor appointment in Springfield and really, really don't want to drive that far on snow.

Well, it has been a week and we have gone through all the seasons of the calendar. Now we are trying to plan ahead for the worst, but honestly, I would very much enjoy a snow day.

@GardenGerty Yeah, we had several days of weird weather. I think you may get Monday, at least, off for snow. It won't start here, according to the forecasts, until in the afternoon on Friday and then it's supposed to keep snowing through Sunday night.
Don't forget to charge up any power banks you have, just in case the electricity goes out.

i think i haven't tried an eldberry tea for a long time or ever but i've heard it's healthy. we had a colder weather and it will get even colder from tomorrow but, i am happy the snow is not near.

Elderberry is supposed to help you fight off colds and the flu. I really love elder flower tea as well. The flowers are very fragrant.

Among the Hidden. . . I think that was it. Author is Haddix. This is part of a series. Sometimes I enjoy books for youth much more than for adults.

An award-winning local children's author whose books are on the school curriculum has just been charged with possessing child images so all his books have been withdrawn from schools and bookstores. I don't think there is any doubt that he is guilty but no-one is waiting for the verdict. Talk about changing your life in an instant!

I'm sorry it has been such a day where you are. I don't care for wind at all. At least you had some sun. Here is around 40 each day lately. Sometimes we get a slight wind but not much or for long. We've had fog for three nights in a row. I enjoy it and stay up later than I should watching it grow.

I am doing well battling cold weather outside with the temperature at 50 degrees F. It is going colder with the temperature low being 32 degrees overnight.
