And probably even some spit in that mess 
. But it is back up enough to block the wind again. And rotten George horse can't ram his rump into it now. I have a gate attached to the frame on the inside of the building. He watched me work but never helped any. Rotten punk a$$.
I decided to relax for the day after getting that done. I have done the minimum steps each hour. But mostly played my phone games. I do need to write out my grocery list soon. That doesn't take very long.
It got up to 37 f so a lot of the white crap melted away. That was nice to see. Right now it doesn't look like my area will get a lot from this next storm except the extreme cold.

George called and said he did most of the work while you sat inside the carport staying out of the wind! Who should we believe? 
My brother just dropped off the curbside order Pretty made and it's all put away now. Some items were "out of stock" so I'll still need to go shopping tomorrow to get stuff to replace the items the person "couldn't find". (Lunch meat, bread, canned soups and canned fruit.)
The forecast has been changing all day here. It looks like snow will be falling here earlier on Friday than first predicted. (It's at 88% now instead of 23% for Friday afternoon/evening but the temps never changed.)
We did reach 46F by about 2 pm so that was nice. I still didn't go outside except to get the mail and to help carry in the groceries.

@DaddyEvil Ours is still changing. This morning it said 6 inches. Now it's 6 to 9. They have no idea really. The heaviest is expected Sunday here. At least for now

It's amazing what they cannot find sometimes.
Ours keeps changing too. Now one day has a 70 something percent chance when yesterday they all had at the highest a 20 percent chance. They still don't know what its going to do.

George sounds like quite a character. He needs a job.
I do my grocery list bit by bit as I think of things other than the usual stuff I order each time.
It is 29F out today. We have only had a dusting of snow once so far this year. I am sure the mountains are getting more than down here in the valley.

It ripped loose from the screws holding it to the frame over time. I will try getting them back in when the weather is better.

I hope you don't get the 6+ inches that they are predicting for us. Our neighbors to the south in Ohio are supposed to get over 12. Stay safe and warm.

Depending on who is doing the forecast, we could get 3-5, 4-6, 5-8, or just plain 8 or 9. It's just a crapshoot. Our issue is going to be the bitter cold and the high winds blowing the snow all over the place.
A friend posted this today-
''Snow predicted from 1 inch to 147 inches. Will start at 5, 6, 7, 8 PM, or from 2-6 AM, or be a blizzard from 5 PM to 6 AM. Maybe.''

The high winds will cause the most trouble. Even a foot of snow isn't bad when the wind doesn't blow.
