We were spared the worst of the winter storm. Our power never went out and we only ended up with sleet and icy rain. The temperature is 18F at the moment. I definitely will stay indoors.
My husband left for work early. He has to be there at 7am this morning and wanted to drive slow in case the road conditions were slick. I expect him to call me any minute to let me know that he made it there safely.
I hope that you all are warm , safe and have all of your needs met.

I'm glad you didn't get the snow but, sometimes freezing rain is worse than snow. I hope your hubby already called and reported his safe trip to work this morning.

He made it safely. Yeah, many are without power and trees are down all over.

A friend of ours has fallen tries and her power has been out since Saturday. We were really blessed. Glad that you are okay too.

I sure hope he made it to work safely. It sounds like it could be very slick driving conditions where you are. We just got lots of snow no rain thankfully.

Sleet and icy rain is bad too but glad that you didn't lose power and are okay.
We got quite a loyof snow and our power went out a few times but came back fairly quickly. My big plans for today....enjoy a quiet day with nowhere I have to be.,
Glad your husband made it safely - hope everyone stays warm and survives the cold!

We got about 18 inches of s**w and it is bitterly cold.. I'm glad you and your hubby r safe and sound.
