Two very busy days

My young housekeeper was here for 5 hours yesterday. We got a lot done. I had a lot of stuff moved for our main project. While she was getting the laundry started I kept moving stuff out of our way. We ended up moving furniture, a rug, boxes of stuff that I am going through. She took pictures of stuff that I want to get rid of. We moved stands around for the plant clippings that I got. I said that I didn't want a lot of plants anymore but I missed them so back to growing plants again. We even had time to bake three dozen chocolate cookies. I sent half of them home with her Today I got busy getting rid of more stuff. That makes me happy. Plus I have been able to be here for awhile today. Now it is almost time to watch a movie. I took small breaks when we were doing all of this. But by 5 p.m. both nights I was beat. It was movie time for me.

I hope you find a good housekeeper. My gal is wonderful and so bubbly. I'm happy I found her. My last one was 65 and always complaining about people and things. She was on her phone a lot instead of working.

@Ineeddentures I hope that you find a good one. The older lady wasn't doing her job right. I quit having her wash dishes because I kept finding food on the plates and silverware. So I would rewash them using more dish soap and water. That was wasteful.

@velvet53 Want someone young and vibrant, Don't care if she spends a lot of time on the phone. As long as she does her work She will be a bit more than a housekeeper Will be a companion for Yvonne if I go back to work

Yes, we did get a lot done. Both days I was wiped out by 5 p.m. so I quit and watched a movie.

I also wish I had the energy I had 20 years a go. I do keep up with my housekeeper most of the time. But I can't get down on my knees anymore and that is frustrating.

Yeah, anytime I get started on a project I notice that I'm tuckered out way sooner than I'd like ..... I wish I still had the energy I had 20 yrs ago.

@DaddyEvil You Tube is usually what I watch movies on. But every once in awhile I will throw a movie into the DVD player. It is usually when I want to watch a favorite of mine.

I wish we could get rid of my uncle's stuff. But every time I mention it my mother freaks out. But now she says that she wants to get rid of it, but hasn't yet.

@velvet53 I don't think she would now. She did fuss when I wanted to get rid of two trees in the front yard and when I wanted to get rid some of his clothes and shoes.

I like my plants too but I got into a project where I needed space for things. So I got rid of a lot of the. But I was able to get a lot of clippings the other day. They are all small but that is better for right now.

Yes, we did. It is usually busy for us on Thursday's but this past Thursday was super busy. I am blessed with my young housekeeper.

It sure is a slow process. My oldest son and I have a storage shed that we are downsizing. Most of it is his stuff but I know what he wants to keep and what he doesn't want to keep. So when I go to my youngest sons I usually stop at the storage shed and grab some more to go through.
