I guess I’m going to Tulsa.

I got a call last night from my dad saying he had a friend’s birthday party to go to near Tulsa, and since he was in that area he was going to take my sister out for her birthday (which is tomorrow). Well, I have no desire to go to that (very nice) man’s birthday party, but I do want to see my sister and her family. So, this morning, in about an hour, we’re headed to the Tulsa area. My dad said he plans to be at the party only briefly, and I might just stay in the car during that. It’s 9 degrees now, but I think he meant he’d keep the car on. 
I had nothing else to do, so why not? What are you guys up to?

@AmbiePam Hmm, they don't show too much of the ranch stuff on the cooking show. Especially since she tries to avoid ranch work as much as possible.. Usually the most she does is open a gate here and there.

I hope you enjoy visiting your sister and her family. I wouldn't want to go to somebody's birthday party if I didn't know them, either.
Are you positive nobody will see you sitting in the car in the sun and break a window to "rescue" you from the heat?

@AmbiePam it’s pretty good so far. I think there’s one or two more episodes left before the end of the season. There really short seasons 8-10 episodes.
