We are in the minuses for temperatures today. I have been up, eaten a roll and coffee, and banana. I have an egg casserole made that Bob and I will eat for lunch.
I am already falling asleep at the desk. Cold weather makes me want to be toasty and nap.
We are definitely staying at home today. Tomorrow we are supposed to have a lovely 46F. Sounds good to me.
Weather predicting people say we are going to have recurring cycles of bitter cold this winter, so I will enjoy the pretty days when I can.

@GardenGerty It's going to be 43 tomorrow; and the daytime temps for the next 5 days will be no lower than 28!!!! I hope we have turned the corner!

Wow, 46 degrees!! Seems like ages since I have seen any temperatures in the 30's or 40's. Oh, wait a minute. It has been several weeks! Glad you get to have a stay at home day.

At almost 1 pm, we're at 12F with a cold wind blowing. We won't see a temp like that until Monday and Tuesday this coming week when we'll reach 50F both days according to the forecast.
The Old Farmer's Almanac showed this winter will be warm with little snowfall. Instead, we keep getting snow and below 0F temps. I'm so tired of winter already. (We are in drought conditions right now, although we are supposed to have a very wet and warm spring this year.)

@GardenGerty We had 60-something yesterday but a cold wind that made it uncomfortable outside.
Today is was 70F. All the snow and ice is gone, even the big pile at the end of the street.
I believe we'll have another big storm before we reach spring, too.

Happy Saturday! it's bitterly cold here too so I'm with you on the toasty and warm. I'm sure a nap will be on my agenda for this afternoon. Meanwhile, got a grocery delivery this morning and will putter around with some basic stuff that needs doing. Definitely a stay at home day for me too.
