I’m suddenly developing other interests?

I don’t have a lot of artistic talent, but this big snowstorm that out of boredom got me to try the craft projects I needed to review, has me eager to try something new. Next up is a set of watercolors I’m being sent. I’m not doing anything worth giving as a gift, but I am having a little fun.
Would you like to try something? An instrument? An art class? Amyra has really thrived in her art class.

I have always enjoyed wheel thrown pottery. The last time I took a class though my teacher was impatient and I quit out of embarrassment. What I really wish I could do would be a rock painting class though. They don't offer it now..here but I could do something myself with a YouTube video. You go for it though Amber

Just enjoy yourself with the watercolors. I've shocked myself this past year, enjoying my sketching times. I'm still at cartoon level but taking colored pencils to paper kind of soothes me. I wish there was no judgement in our efforts. Just having fun should be plenty.

If I knew where my candle making supplies were stored when we moved into this house, I'd build some candles so I could watch them burn while I'm playing online or reading a book. (I have a glass container set up that is big enough to hold the candle jars so I know nothing else will catch fire if I fall asleep while one is burning.) I saved several of the small glass candle jars and cleaned them out. I found those in my closet when the construction guys were here last summer.

@AmbiePam I have several bags of wax buttons that can be poured into the jars after adding an anchored wick and I have blocks of scents that I like adding as I'm adding the wax buttons. I used to buy wax blocks that I melted down to pour into the glass jars but the wax buttons are a LOT easier to use. You don't have to melt them down before pouring them into the candle jars.

I have a cupboard full of crayons and colored pencils and adult coloring books that I bought when I though I would get creative, I have not used any of it because I got busy on the net, Perhaps I should make Sundays my creative day, Just thinking no reason to let that stuff just sit thre,

I wish I had the sewing gene, but no matter how I try, they are so-so. When I was a teenager, I made purses out of jeans and cute purses using those bamboo rings and material oblong placemats. I would like to try that again. I've always wanted to try oil painting and maybe some day will take a class.

I have too many interests but they all just sit, waiting until I feel I have time for them.

Watercolors sounds like ti would be fun to try., I bet you have more artistic talent than you give yourself credit for.
Back many years ago I enjoyed doing ceramics, That's something I would like to do again but don't know if there's a ceramic studio nearby. I always did crafts and still love to crochet (as you know).

Nothing wrong with wanting to try new things. I want to take a weaving class, I always thought that would be so fun. Not practical right now due to time restraints and funds, but I have always been interested in weaving.
I have friends who do diamond paintings. No way could I ever do that, it looks too intricate for me, and sometimes my right hand is a bit shaky. But they look fun.
