Here I am, tyding up the house for tomorrow´s visit for another couple interested in the house. I can´t understand how easy the house lacks order and how difficult it is to place everything where it belongs afterwards. I hardly eat, yet the amount of dishes and coffee mugs pile up.

And I am also thawing old dishes with Luna´s fascination as I give part of them to her. After my tummy problems, I don´t dare eat what is not new and cooked with spices that are too strong. I´m scarcely eating pepper although I´m still fond of garlic and onion. Today I´ll finish the escalivada and eat some bread pudding.I also have an ice cream dessert I love. Martín did not come today because some people in his work are on vacation and he has been asked to work more. He is happy though because they pay him more for the extra hours. We are having a very hot summer but I don´t care. I prefer hot to cold. See you around, friends

Do not tell me! We are only two and after we finish our meals the sink is full of dishes, glasses pots and pans. Be careful what you give to Luna. Certain types of pepper, especially spicy ones like chili pepper, can be harmful to dogs, causing digestive upset and irritation.

I´m not cooking with pepper since my diverticulitis although it seems that it has nothing to do with spices. And I know that peppers, even sweet pepper, is irritating.

@marguicha - I was sure you knew. I think that it's different from person to person which foods are the worst for diverticulitis. I cannot eat high fiber food, including oat.

@marguicha - I am like you Marga, I know what my body dislike and what it's not good for me, no matter what my doctors say or suggest. I had to fight with my brother to have our Mom examined when she had stomach pain. He insisted it was "a small ulcer". I feared it was cancer. I was right. She had surgery and survived for 27 more years.

Good afternoon. We're getting some spring temps right now. It's warm outside but we have a cloud-filled sky so aren't seeing any sunshine. I'm glad you feel up to cleaning and straightening the house for the looky-loos coming by to see if they want to buy it. (The last house we sold was a pain in the tush to keep clean and neat for people who just want to look and don't have the money to buy even if they wanted to.

) I hope your house sells soon so you can stop worrying about selling it.

I prefer hot to cold as well. With the brutally cold winter that we've had, I don't know what our summer will be like. I hope someone is interested in your house!!!

I hated having to ''show'' our home when it was for sale. We were as neat as possible, but with so many in one household it was very hard to get everything picture perfect before a house showing. Whether there is one person or ten people living in a home, there is always something to clean, ugh. Remember your dishwasher trick, hide the dirties in there!

It's those darn elves that come out at night and throw parties and eat all night long messing up your dishes and leaving them for you to wash!! It has happened here, as well!! I agree with you. Summer is much better than those cold winters!! I hope Spring arrives here soon!

Even though it has been very hot here, I prefer it to winter. And it is less expensive too. As I´m at home most of the time, I´m all the time in T shirts and shorts.

I have a tendency to place books and now my pills everywhere. And I have to have everything in order when people come. I can´t even hide them inside closets because they want to see everywhere.
