We were running a bit late today
And the tv is quite good
So I decided not to cook
Bit to order a takeaway away instead
And our local " chippy" 200 yards along the road delivered a really good meal.
Yvonne had a macaroni pie and chips
I had what you can see in the picture
It's called a mixed supper
Chips, Fish fried in Batter, Chicken Gujons and a Pork Sausage fried in Batter
Traditional Scottish Cause A Heart Attack Food.

Macaroni pie.
Basically macaroni cheese in a pie
Really tasty but I would say it's not as good as them macaroni cheese Yvonne makes
Not sure of I really placed it well and took a good photo but it tasted good

No thank you. Fish and sausage look overcooked and the chicken just doesn’t look appealing….might just be the photo though !

It's not just the photo it was a bit over cooked
But it tasted good
And that's what counts especially when one can't be arssed cooking

Way back in the day when mom and I lived in the Bay Ridge Brooklyn NY there was a fish market that made some of the best fish and chips and we would have some at least once a week,
