Nervous is when a patrol car is behind you. My nephew turns on the first street to get rid of the patrol car. I told him that makes you look guilty of something when you do that.
Nervous is when you see a bunch of young people enter a store. You wonder what they are up to. Which is really sad.
How about when you give a speech in front of a bunch of people. That makes you nervous. What if those people start to BOO you.?? Being nervous is normal it is an uneasy feeling.

I have that same problem when I see persons walking on the street since I fear asking me for money.

I turned while driving today because a police vehicle was behind me. I have done that before. I don't like them following me.
I won't talk in front of a crowd of people. I don't like people staring at me.

I think everyone gets nervous when they are followed by a patrol car, it's just a natural way to feel.
Many of the stores here require all young people carrying backpacks to leave them with the clerk at the check out counters. I guess there was just too many thefts to keep up with.

Yes, they have done that here for some time now. This is the home of University of Illinois so we have a lot of students. I've never seen this practice done with the backpacks anywhere close to what we call ''campus town'' but I know they make the middle schoolers and high schoolers do it here.

I attemp to avoid being nervous because that causes a rise in my anxiety. If I see a bad email that pretains to me I am even afraid of opening it but thank heavens, lately all ahs been good,

I always get nervous if someone follows me too closely when driving. Even if it's a plain 'ordinary' car because it could be an unmarked police car
For years I was also terrified of public speaking but I am mostly over that now (though not completely).

It is a relatable way to explain nervousness —and yes, it really shows up in daily moments like this. Seeing a patrol car behind you can make anyone suddenly nervous, perhaps so nervous to make oneself make mistakes. They are all natural. However, you are right in instructing nit to look suspicious and do the right thing. Sometimes we all get nervous for no reasons. I have gone through those and perhaps after a long sequence of such, feel less nervous in such ones. Speaking in front of people used to big challenge for me. Being with unknown people used to scary especially if it was last evenings or unfamiliar environments.

When I used to drive, I didn't like being followed by a patrol car either.
