36 days until spring. With the temperatures finally moderating, it gives me hope that yes, spring will come one day! lol In addition to my doctor leaving the practice, I found out yesterday that my eye doctor is closing her practice. I have been going there for about 30 years, long before she took over the business. There is a possibility that another doctor will be taking it over...we shall see. If not, I need to find two new doctors. Breakfast - Granola bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, corn and peppers Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie, unsalted peanuts, 70% dark chocolate Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, raspberries What did you eat yesterday? I agree with Anna. Finding new doctors who we like and trust can be overwhelming.

@LindaOHio I recently made our eye appointments - we go together and are seen separately, but the assistant does a few tests and our optometrist spends a good 20 + minutes with each of us.

Fortunately the one doctor mainly just renews my prescriptions; and the eye doctor doesn't have much contact with you. I go once every 6 months; and the girls in the office do most of the testing, etc. I only saw the eye doctor for about 5 minutes.

I'm in the process of finding a new psychiatrist. Mine is only open on Mondays from 2-6 pm (4 hours) and doesn't have any office staff, so getting ahold of them isn't easy.

That's the doctor that is leaving the practice. His office is quite a distance; but I've been having TeleHealth appointments with him. He mainly just renews my prescriptions as I don't need a therapist. So I will either take whatever doctor they assign to me or I will find a doctor closer to where I live.

It's a bit sad when we have developed good relationship and then the doctor retries.

Fortunately with either of these doctors, it won't matter much who replaces them.

This is the serious problem aging, all our doctors retire and we have to find replacements.

Neither one retired. The one doctor is going to another job; and the other had to give up her practice. I don't know why; but she was very upset.

Wow having to find 2 new doctors certainly isn't fun. I hope whomever takes over you like and you don't have to go searching for new doctors. Last night we had rotisserie chicken and it was so nice not to have to cook a big meal and just add some sides (sweet potatoes and cauliflower). Now we have plenty leftover for sandwiches or another meal.

I had Chobani protein yogurt, and steak fajitas (for lunch and supper). I hope someone takes over her business, and you don’t have to change.

Ah-ha! I had a chicken taco salad instead of the taco! More of the usual (tomato soup instead of chicken vegetable soup) for dinner. Peaches, yogurt, fiber, applesauce, oh my!

I ate leftover lasagna for breakfast yesterday morning and ate a turkey and cheese sandwich before we left for the bogus doctor appointment yesterday afternoon. I microwaved a chicken and biscuit for supper last night and ate a fiber brownie for dessert. I drank a bottle of Mountain Dew when we were driving home yesterday afternoon.

Remember the song I'm in the Money"? Well, I'm into the food: a typical menu with nice crispy ridged fries, piece of kielbasa wrapped in bacon, the later ice cream sandwich and Ding Dong, and finally ham sandwich with diced tomatoes and Italian dressing.

Ouch, sorry to hear that...it's hard when we get used to someone for so long and then they leave. Hopefully finding new ones won't be too hard
