Paper Towels Made Me Cry

I did fine when I pulled the blanket out of the crate. But when I started cleaning the top off was the problem. I always kept a roll of paper towels there for her boo-boos. That is what got me. I hated cleaning that up but never blamed Jill. She just never could hold it a real long time.
I had to get Duke doberman a stuffed toy out. Of course he still wants the one that Patch border collie had 
. But now there is 2 of them. And Duke doberman will lose interest by the end of the day.
The picture is my 50 cent touch lamp. I love it. Hope you had a good day.

That's an interesting looking lamp and at that price, you can't pass it up. 
Like many kids, toys aren't interesting until someone else plays with it.

@wolfgirl569 We used to have several touch lamps in the house. My second wife couldn't turn them on. They wouldn't respond to her touch and I commented that a person has to be alive before those respond. The next day they were all gone. (Her hands were always cold, even in summer. 
)

I like your lamp!
There will be reminders, I know. You had Jill since the day she was born. I know it’s really hard. Whenever I lose a pet it’s just tough.

Lovely lamp. When I scoop Bruno up to move him, I think of my sister. He is very careful not to sit ON anyone because he is big, but he wants to be with us, in our chair, in our bed. He waited two weeks mostly in her bed while she was in the hospital. I do not know why your post reminded me of that. Pets have a sneaky way of getting into our hearts and minds and we miss them when they are gone.

Grief has a way of sneaking up on you. I have a light in that style. It is tall and not touch though. I am not really using it. I need to move it where it can be useful.

I think so
Jill didn't play with toys too much. But I am missing her grabbing my hand to speed me up as I take the dogs to the door. She liked to run around you and play bite
