My best friend is doing Facebook dating. She keeps sending me snippets of guys profiles, and most of the time, I know what for (she never shows me identifiable info if indeed she’s provided that). Some of the stuff people put on their profiles is hilarious (intentionally and unintentionally).
Have you guys ever done online dating, or know someone who has?

I have..I have one now that said looking for friendship and then made a really flirty comment. Um, guess I know what kind of friendship he is looking for..umm, not into it. He can find another "friend.:

I never but a mom's acquaintance found this foreign guy saying he was American and they chatted on Facebook for some time. The mother liked the guy so much that she believed everything he said. She invested her money truly believing that the guy has a good company. She lost millions including her children's inheritance from their late father.

I found out my ex had a online dating page while we were still dating.....lol. That wasnt funny while we were dating. Although now its pretty hilarious.

I know four different people who met their true love on online dating Apps, not Facebook Dating, other apps like "Bumble". Have you heard of Bumble?

No thank god, I met my wife when I was 17, I'm 36 now we been together ever since. Dating has to suck in 2026 with all the wierdos online

Long ago, I signed up with Plenty of Fish so that I could see the guys a friend was being matched with, but I didn't get any matches myself.

I haven't tried online dating but I do know a few people who have. Most weren't very successful.
It really is crazy what some people put on their profiles.
I do enjoy watching 90 day fiancé which is all about finding that "special someone" online. I know it's a tv show but some of these people just ignore the red flags that are so obvious,
