My best friend is doing Facebook dating. She keeps sending me snippets of guys profiles, and most of the time, I know what for (she never shows me identifiable info if indeed she’s provided that). Some of the stuff people put on their profiles is hilarious (intentionally and unintentionally). Have you guys ever done online dating, or know someone who has?

I have..I have one now that said looking for friendship and then made a really flirty comment. Um, guess I know what kind of friendship he is looking for..umm, not into it. He can find another "friend.:

I never but a mom's acquaintance found this foreign guy saying he was American and they chatted on Facebook for some time. The mother liked the guy so much that she believed everything he said. She invested her money truly believing that the guy has a good company. She lost millions including her children's inheritance from their late father.

I know four different people who met their true love on online dating Apps, not Facebook Dating, other apps like "Bumble". Have you heard of Bumble?

See, if I were going to do online dating, I’d do something like Bumble, which I’ve heard of. Facebook Dating is not the same thing. I know a married couple who met on Eharmony.

Never did. I would have wondered if the profile info is embellished or the pictures sent were recent. I did know someone who tried it and successfully got a long-term relationship out of it. Eventually though, it did not progress to marriage and they broke up.
