25 days until spring. Our Winter Storm Watch has been downgraded to a Winter Storm Advisory. We only have a coating of s**w so far. I guess the east coast hasn't been as lucky. If you live there, how much s**w do you have so far? Stay safe and stay home.
The new lady starts today (2/23). It's looking like cousin #2 is not going to have a chance to come and see me before she leaves.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Leftover pizza
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, veggie straws

New York City has declared an emergency for the city and issued a travel ban. They have over 15 inches of snow with more falling. Airports are closed as are schools across the Northeastern US. Power has been disrupted in parts of the area, too.
On an unrelated topic, I worked in our kitchen for a couple of hours yesterday dividing up different packs of meat and freezing them in a more convenient size and then spent another hour and a half cooking several meals to go into the freezer, as well.
I mixed a can of mandarin oranges with a bottle of maraschino cherries for breakfast yesterday (I ate about half of it and put the rest in the fridge.), ate a slice of all-meat pizza for lunch and ate some Cheddar cheese pasta with ground beef added for supper last night.

Thanks for the weather update.
I'm glad you will have several meals in the freezer. Cousin #2 made up some meals for me too.

I'm worried about @NJChicaa. I expected her to give weather updates but have only seen her here around 3 am my time.

This storm has really brought havoc to the east coast. Thankfully my part of PA got less than what was expected even though it's still enough to make traveling difficult and most everything is closed today. As long as we don't lose power I'm ok. The snow removal company was here to clear our sidewalks and driveways all morning. The snow plow was here multiple times during the night to keep the road cleared.
You're lucky you just go a coating. Hope this is the end for all of us and we can say hallelujah when spring arrives.
Hope the new lady works out well for you

@LindaOHio I do remember the blizzard of 77-78. Thank goodness we don't get winters like that anymore.
I hope the new lady works out and you feel comfortable with her once you get used to having her come. I'm sure it's a little uncomfortable right now since you don't really know her.

Hope you don't get too much more of the white stuff....I guess for once I am glad to be in the West side of the states.
Our high for the day is in the 50s.

Before you know it, cousin #2 will be FaceTiming you to show you her new place. Moving is so time consuming! As much as I’d like to do it, I don’t have the energy!
I look forward to hearing how the new lady does.

I had some unbelievably delicious smoked turkey with a baked potato for lunch, and a Whataburger Jr. and fries for dinner. An orange and fiber!

Yes. That could have been us. Remember 77-78? I remember that all too well. I had to walk partway home in knee to thigh deep s**w.

@wolfgirl569 My husband was so angry that I took a chance to walk about a block in the s**w. I didn't want to stay overnight at work; and the phone man offered to take me home; but he couldn't get down one of the streets; so I told him I would walk. They had to clear that street with a front end loader!!!
